seasons

It is peach season, my favorite season in all of Utah. It means that my mom and I spend $100 on peaches and slave over them in the kitchen as we slip them into mason jars and bottle them up to be eaten during the winter. My favorite part of summer is eating the peaches without washing them or anything; just picking up a peach and eating it. So glorious.

We also make a lot of peach pies. They are my favorite. Pie is my most favorite food in the whole world. I think that comes with the territory of being a Packard. One time, all the Packard's got together for Thanksgiving and we had 28 pies, one for each grandchild... almost. It was such a wonderful time. I ate pie until I could eat pie no more.
